This 8x12 oil has a story. I met the owner of this plane at the Hyannis ,Ma airport. He was a retired airline pilot, 76 years old. He had just bought the Stinson, and flown it from Minnesota to Hyannis. I saw the airplane at a grass stip airport near my house, and took a picture of it up against the woods, and painted it. I was away a while, when I got back I called him to give the painting to him.Unfortunatly his wife told me he had passed away.I gave the painting to his widow, and she was very, very appreciative. I was happy to give the painting to her.
